Artificial intelligence offers companies great potential in areas such as Industry 4.0, services, healthcare, finance, human resources, marketing and sales. With our research, we want to expand the boundaries of knowledge, but also investigate circumstances under which the use of AI is not advisable. Successful use of AI is not only dependent on algorithms and data bases, but also on organizational embedding and collaboration between AI and humans. To maximize benefits and minimize risks, our research addresses the characteristics, potentials, and risks of this collaboration in order to ensure that humans and algorithms will ultimately complement each other well.
