Welcome!

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Chair of Information Systems | Software & AI Business at TU Darmstadt. My work focuses on the role of emerging technologies in enterprise digital transformation — in particular how Artificial Intelligence as well as Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR) within the metaverse ecosystem can be leveraged to unlock new business models, evolve organizational structures and processes, and sustain long-term competitiveness.

At the core of my research is the question of how organizations can translate technological potential into viable, scalable initiatives, business models, and organizational change. I examine the conditions under which companies successfully move new technologies from initial pilot projects into broad deployment and realize tangible value. My research integrates perspectives from strategic management, organizational design, and digital innovation, taking a multi-level view of transformation — from business models and organizational processes to collaboration, work, and learning practices.

Alongside my academic work, I have gained practical experience in consulting contexts, translating analytical insights into strategic initiatives, concrete roadmaps, and implementation programs. Currently, I apply these perspectives through direct collaboration with organizations within the ZUKIPRO project, where I conduct workshops and provide tailored support for transformation initiatives related to AI and immersive technologies — from strategic framing to practical implementation.

My goal is to help organizations structure technological change and translate it into sustainable, human-centered value creation, enabling them to remain competitive in an increasingly dynamic environment.

  • Technology-driven enterprise transformation: Integrating AI and immersive technologies into strategy, business models, and organizational design
  • Scaling digital initiatives: How organizations move new technologies from pilot projects to enterprise-wide adoption and sustainable implementation
  • Organizations and ways of working in transition: Adapting structures, processes, and collaboration in response to technological transformation

My methodological focus lies on combining qualitative and quantitative research approaches to conduct evidence-based analyses of complex organizational phenomena. To this end, I employ interview studies and quantitative surveys, among other methods, to systematically examine decision processes, implementation dynamics, and usage patterns of emerging technologies. In addition, I develop taxonomies and conceptual models — for example to structure emerging business models — to identify patterns and make findings comparable across organizations.

To validate and further refine these approaches, I conduct studies in real-world application contexts as well as experimental designs to analyze underlying mechanisms and effects in a targeted manner.
