Over the past two years, I have worked as a student assistant at the Chair of the Software & Digital Business Group. I started with organizational tasks and now I work as a research assistant. My experience as a student assistant has taught me about research and university. Throughout this period, I was involved in various projects and I supported many of the doctoral candidates in tasks like literature research, assembling up the Meta & AI Lab, transcription and administrative duties.

After gaining insights into different projects, I started working as a research assistant in AI and business models, which aligned with my interests. Due to my previous experience, this transition was very easy for me. In addition to the previous tasks, I developed a JavaScript-based online tool that facilitates the creation of AI-driven business models. Furthermore, I've acquired skills to create surveys by using a survey tool. I also had the opportunity to be a part of the organising team of the events “SpeedupSecure Final Pitch Day” and “Darmstadt AI Summit”. Through these events, I had the chance to network with professionals and gain insights into various startup ventures. In addition to this, I was involved in many other tasks such as creating presentations for AI workshops, writing a guide, etc.

Moreover, the department has various activities or events like Summer- and Christmas-party. Attending these events helped me to integrate even better into the team and build strong relationships. For me, these celebrations are memorable as they made me feel like an integral part of the team.

My time as a student assistant has been characterized by continuous growth, learning, and meaningful contributions to various research. These skills are of great value to me as they will not only help me with my goal of getting a PhD but also with writing my thesis.
